As I am cleansing myself, I think back to everything that happened! I had been in that coma since New Orleans. Xander never took me to the art gallery; and all the falling and winding up with Chase was all a figment of my imagination. Though the Chase in my dreams kept telling me that while I was dreaming, he was real in my subconscious.
He had told me he couldn't contact me in the real world, whatever that meant. But he wanted to get through to me in my dreams to tell me something important. It's all in bits and pieces now. All I can remember was something he told me how it's alright for me to be in love with two different people.

I could remember telling him in this life of mine, love is just not possible for me. He just smiled and told me I had to wake up. I had been sleeping for far too long.
And I did. Out of nowhere, I woke up. I had trouble walking at first because I had been bedridden for so long. But then last night, I decided to give it a shot and made a wish upon a star. I wished I could be okay to go jogging in the morning, and I wished I wasn't so sick. My first wish came true anyway.
I give myself a mental shake, and get out of the shower. I get dressed and head out to the dining room where Nora is waiting for me. I sit down at my chair, and notice a plate full of spaghetti.
"You made me spaghetti with sauce and meatballs?" I raise an eyebrow to her.
"There more like meatless meatballs, child," she answers. "I know you're not big on red meat, and so I made tofu meatless meatballs."
"Try to say that three times fast," I joke.
"Child, I am just so glad you're finally awake and doing better."
"And this is why I am getting spaghetti for breakfast?"
"Honey, if chocolate cake was your favorite food, I would have made that for breakfast." She walks over to me and gives me a hug. "I just want you to be happy."
"I know you do," I say. "I know you do."
