Due: Saturday, March 5th, 2016

I've been doing a lot of thinking lately!

My original plan was to delete myself off of Facebook all together...But then I'd miss my fellow Blogophilia friends.  You've really been there for me like family.  I'll always be grateful for that.

If Marvin did have a Blogger or Wordpress page, I would delete my FB in a heartbeat.  I would just create a profile for blogging friends only and comment on there...I mean, for those who decide not to leave the FB blogging world.

I've not been in a slump writing wise....I am too self conscious to put myself out there for the real world to see.  Sometimes when I write a short-story using the prompts provided for me, I get comments that I tend to take to heart.

I have to learn to not be like that.  Especially if I'm going to be working on the a to z challenge on my blog site: Diana J's Random World.  It's random, because I'm weird like that.  I have no idea why I decided to do this!  I barely have time to turn in a blog on time once a week as is.

This "Bleak Midwinter" you speak of?  It does not exist in South West Florida.  Winter doesn't exist down here.  I think we're about at the beginning of early Fall season, but that's about it!

For us, it's not in the bleak midwinter, but rather we're in the bleak peaking of the Summer!  Eh, I'm trying here with the prompts...

"All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost; the old that is strong does not wither, deep roots are not reached by the frost."

I guess Tolkien said it best.  Sometimes silver shines brighter than gold; I'm not lost, though I do like to wander and wonder a lot; I feel that even though I'm 38, I know I'm not old.  In fact, I'm around 18-25 year olds that act like they're old.  They get sore from their workouts and such.  I just look at them like you're crazy because you're young.  Which only tells me they must be doing their workouts all wrong.  I'm older, and I've never gotten sore after exercise, and if I did, it was because I was getting sick.

"Deep roots are not reached by the frost."  Living in Florida, you have no idea how true that is!

But even in the storm, I will dance my way out of it.  I will be that tiny, wacky dancer like I always am.  I was sick, but now I'm feeling better enough to get some exercise in today.

If the sandman is calling, I'll be sure to put him on hold.  I have too much to do today....Including finishing this blog!

Oh, UM, guesses????

Topic: Jessica?
The Lyle Lovett thing?  I didn't think my friends were into country....Um, no clue!
The J.R.R. Tolkien quote:  Liam?
The picture:  Colleen?

Yeah, I got nothing!!!!  I know!

Oh, BTW...I added FB comments to this.....Underneath Blogger comments, you can comment on your FB account....I hope this helps! :)

Hey Lady, this was a lot of "I got nothing!" LOL!! I've always wanted to change my name and be able to have the freedom to write without families reading it, and then starting rumors. Oy! But I haven't found a site that I like enough to be able to write on there. Maybe I'll keep searching. :)

I do like your random blogs. It reminds me that I'm not alone. :) So you never ache the day after exercising? Wow! That's fantastic! I always, and I mean always ache after any type of exercise, whether it's arms, stomach, or something simple as walking. Haha. I'm such a wimp like that. :)

I did have a lot for "nothing" huh? LOL. I meant on the guesses...I really don't have a clue about these. Marvin likes guesses, but I'm not good at this thing...hahaha

I find Blogger or Wordpress pretty good as far as getting an audience that isn't family. But I notice Wordpress gets more followers than blogger...WAY more!!!!

Thanks for liking my random blogs. I'm glad I can write something for others to relate to. Sore was never my thing after exercising. I only ever got sore if I was getting sick or if I was doing an exercise the wrong way...Since yoga, I really don't have sore problems.

Walking can make you sore...I think it's the yoga though for me that keeps me from getting sore! *shrugs*

I might suggest a facebook profile with a "fake/pen" name to make it difficult for friends/family to read. But I don't know anyone who'd actually do that.

I tried that once... This profile would only be used for commenting only. This is only because I'm on FB way more than I care to admit. I'm like a child who won't go to bed at night...thinking I'll miss something...

I quit caring whether anyone reads me or not. I just put out the pieces and if it makes 100 views, fine.

That may be a function of getting older, though.

I said it before, and I will say it again...there's nothing wrong with rambling. As to caring who reads me or not...I'd rather they NOT leave a 'like' over a comment. Simple as that. To me it says that my blog was not worthy of a comment. That's just me. :)

Wow I get to comment twice..Your rambling is always a treat to read..I have to say though, I lived in Fl for 15 years. During that time I saw winter come twice. I mean snow and ice. One year there was a freeze and all the flowers were ruined and the citrus years died in the Northern part. So Fl does sometimes see winter.

So very true. I'm getting older, and learning to be more calm about things...

Thank you! And I love your blogs!!!!

Oh wow! I've heard it does tend to snow in FL. But like flurries in the northern area. Sometimes the citrus will wilt away if not covered at night.
