Day 227 of the 365 Day Gratitude Challenge. Wednesday, 2/15/17.
In 2003, Andy and I got a little girl, about a year and a half old, named Mickey.
Mickey was always perky, and full of energy. She never complained. She had some quirks, but don't we all?
Today, after work, I found my Mickey sleeping peacefully. I'm grateful she was at least in the comfort of her own home!
She was in a lot of discomfort the past few days. I'm grateful she no longer has to feel that pain. Though I will miss her very much! She has been in this home for nearly 14 years! That's not something to ever forget!
RIP Mickey!
