"The only way to do it is to do it," or so the saying goes.
I fight it all as I pull my hair back and go for an unwanted jog outside. I don't want to, but I know it's important in keeping healthy. I put my headphones on, and I'm on the road again, listening to Road to Nowhere. It seems like an appropriate song. I stop mid-jog to see my dream car driving by. It's a 1970 SS Chevelle.
It would be a nice car to drive if it were ideal in a place like Florida. But it's not. Which is why I prefer my Ford F-150. I put my headphones on, and continue my jog.
After jogging, I head back home, where Nora is waiting for me. I hold up my fingers to her, letting her know I will eat breakfast once I shower. She gives me a nod of approval.
I head in the shower, secretly wishing I had time to take a bath, maybe enjoy a glass of wine. Who am I kidding? I'm not old enough to drink. One of my goals is to live to see 21. We will see.
If he is right, maybe I'm not dying after all.

It was that story I had originally written. Once I was working more, and then I got that job, I kind of put my writing on pause! I just needed to get into some kind of a routine!
