In my hand is a cone with a flower
All I wanted was to see the best of you

In life I've learned it moves pretty fast
Within a blink of an eye you just cast
Because you failed to stop and look

Stop and look around once in a while
And treasure each moment with a smile
Never take a minute to miss any of it

Without enough care or growth around
We can wilt and perish into the ground
For we are all like a cone of flowers

Among the weary eyed and the rested
Despite the constant feel of being tested
We must remember to show compassion
