Nothing

Wednesday, April 16th, 2014

N is for…

Nothing:

Nothing
Empty and hollow
Blank
Staring back at me
The world is my canvas
And I have nothing to paint
But I shall find my way
All I have to do
Is start with something
Anything
Add a little blue, perhaps?
Mix it with a yellow, maybe?
Maybe mix blue with red?
Create a hue of purple?
It only takes one step
Just one
To colorize a blank canvas
To turn nothing
Into something

Lies

Monday, April 14th, 2014

Lies you tell
Set a spell
That you begin
When you think you win

Underneath it all
When settle dust fall
Remembering when
Finding your pen

Karma catches on
Soon you’ll be gone
The treachery
The thievery

The truth will set you free
If you could only see
But if it’s lies you still tell
See what awaits in hell

A Different View

A Different View

As I have now chosen to treat myself kind
Conflagration the property of my mind

I find some fragments of the memory near
It's a deafening tone I must force to not hear

Like the echolalia of the parrot, mimicking my move
I must not learn to get back into that groove

I must move into the direction of the healing
And learn to become hooked on that feeling

Take that lens cap off and see from different views
It's not all what it seems; not all are dusty hues
